Interview with Jane Needham SC in best-selling book

Jane was interviewed by Dr Kirstin Ferguson for her new book Head and Heart: the Art of Modern Leadership (released 31 January 2023). The book examines the art of leadership as a balance of the head and the heart, and how to call on these strengths at the right time.

NSW Bar Association – Social Media

Also on 9 March 2023, Jane will be part of a panel on the Use of Social Media by Barristers, with Arthur Moses SC and Matthew Lewis. The panel will discuss the dos and don’ts for barristers using social media. Issues to be discussed include:

• the benefits of barristers adopting social media;
• how to effectively use social media;
• marketing within the rules;
• precautions to take when using social media.

Collaborative Training

Jane successfully undertook the Collaborative Practice for Wills and Estates course in July 2022, and is doing her Advanced Skills training in February 2023. She is now available to act as a collaborative professional or as facilitator/coach in wills and estates collaborative disputes. See more about the course here.

Piddington Society Bali Conference 2-4 June 2023

Australian Women Lawyers National Conference

On 6 August 2022, Jane spoke as a member of the panel on the topic Economic and Financial Security in the Modern Workplace, dealing with women’s inclusion and advancement issues such as flexible work, childcare, and equitable briefing. More information about the conference may be found here.
