Booking a mediation
You can book a mediation with Jane Needham SC here (Calendly).
If you are booking a full-day mediation – please also book a pre-trial directions meeting for a one-hour block.
If you are booking a half-day mediation – please also book a pre-trial directions meeting for a half-hour block.
Only Jane’s currently available timings will be available, but as Jane’s calendar is very dynamic, you will need to confirm the booking.

Fees
Jane has a competitive and flexible range of fees depending on the nature of the dispute to be mediated, and the volume of reading required. Please do not hesitate to discuss with her the particular needs of your matter, including pre-mediation conferences or meetings with clients (which can be especially useful in estate or family disputes), complexity of issues, and the value of the dispute.
Venues
Jane is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and as such Jane has access to excellent mediation facilities in Jamison Street, Sydney at discounted rates. Alternatively, she can assist in suggesting spaces at the NSW Bar Association, the Law Society of NSW, or can attend at venues of your choice. Mediations with small numbers of parties can be conducted at her chambers at no additional charge.
Online mediations
Jane is listed as an expert mediator with the Immediation platform. Alternatively, she is able to facilitate Zoom or Teams mediations. Her chambers in Sydney has a state-of-the-art virtual courtroom which can be used for remote mediations.

Booking a collaborative practice meeting
Jane is available to conduct collaborative practice mediations as a facilitator/coach. A preliminary meeting to establish whether a dispute is suitable for the collaborative process may be booked only by accredited collaborative practice professionals. The charge for such an initial meeting is usually included in the costs of Jane’s fee for facilitating/coaching the collaborative process, but for complex matters there may be a fee for this preliminary meeting.
